After longing over the brake shop building for years, just down the street from Lindenwood University, Curley sold us the building to be preserved and coffee to one of our favorite neighborhoods.
Many elements of the Brake Shop have been repurposed from the old 50's era gas station; including the old tire racks as our bar height counters, Curley's old racing slicks, and the original brake shop lettering reinstalled on the front of our tile bar.
The cafe is very bright and open, a great place to work or enjoy life in St. Charles. The Brake Shop is home to a 2 Group Slayer Steam serving excellent coffee (especially espresso) and great food.
